I stayed in this hotel for one night during my recent visit to Jorhat. The hotel is inside the byelanes of busy AT Road. Near HDFC bank to be precise. The check in procedure was quick. The room size is not big but sufficient for 2 people. Few suggestions 1. Keep a provision for hot water 2. As Jorhat is in east, Sun rise early.The curtain in the room are not dark coloured.So one can not sleep in the Sunlight. The food is vegetarian. I recommend to try their Khichdi with raita. Delicious. Must try. The breakfast is not buffet but you can order as per your choice and they will serve in your room as well. Service is flawless and staff is very helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel if you are in Jorhat.

We stayed at Jora Palace for only one night. It is located in a very convenient location for a business trip. Close to retail & whole sale markets. The lane it is in is narrow & crowded. The room we were allotted (4th. floor) was not large but it was well lit, clean & comfortable. We were however surprised to find an old box type T.V. It worked well though. The bathroom was spacious, had hot water though the shower could do with better pressure. The restaurant is spacious and pleasant. We asked for chillie free food and the server promised us that there be no chillies. We ordered tandoori roti, laccha paratha, daal fry and cauliflower sabzi with plain steamed rice. The only item withour chillies was rice !! The daal was a burning fire, the cauliflowe sabzi was abit less hot. Could not eat the rice because of the daal. The management was considerate enough to say at dinner we could get complimentary rice. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. It is a good hotel to stay in if you are not looking for any open space / garden. Avoid the front rooms because of the road noise.

We were 6 of us and stayed 3 nights 18 to 21 March 2018. Pure vegetarian Breakfast was basic but nice. Evening meals were delecious and the chef cooked food to our needs. We requested a variety of exotic vegetables.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this small but centrally located hotel in Jorhat. Rooms are small but nice with all amenities. Food is only vegetarian which is a drawback. So for a short stay I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a good location within easy reach of shops, market, etc. A great little place to stay and if you can pay that bit extra for a better room, that is what you get. We had a lovely suite for 2,500 rupees. Two rooms plus a wardrobe/dressing area and decent size bathroom. It has a good vegetarian restaurant and we had some lovely dishes there both for breakfast and dinner. The staff are helpful and polite and particular mention has to go to Issa who assisted us with the many queries we had and for arranging onward transport to Tezpur. Wifi was a bit hit and miss but this was not necessarily the fault of the hotel. This was my first visit to the hotel but my husband stayed a couple of years back. We would certainly return again if in the area.
